What never reaches your bar
The upstream tape reports everything. Most of it is noise, and some of it is a trap. Broadcasting it unfiltered would be the fastest way to lose your attention for good.
Airdrops and planted buys
Roughly a quarter of what the tape reports as a purchase was never bought with money. Those never reach your bar.
Drained pools and honeypots
If the pool is already empty or flagged, following the trade only makes you the exit. Dropped before you see it.
Anything under your size
The median fill on this chain is around $100. You set the floor — default $1K — and everything below it stays off the bar.

Why the token is step seven
A token issued before there is revenue is inflation with a countdown on it. Step six has to be making real money from advertisers before step seven distributes a cent.
The order can’t be skipped either way: nobody buys the top of a menu bar nobody reads, and nobody reads a bar that hasn’t earned it.

What changed, and when
Every entry is a change that shipped. 0.x was the beta line; 1.x is the public one.
Settings tells you which build you are on
- Settings footer now shows the running version, read from the bundle — the first thing anyone needs when reporting something.
- Fixed: expanding a signal showed an empty panel and never loaded. The request was tied to a view that only existed once the data arrived — a deadlock with itself.
- Fixed: the second and third priority cards set their open state but nothing rendered it, so the click did nothing at all.
- Detail now says when the tape genuinely has nothing more on a signal, instead of leaving a blank box.
- Loading state says it is loading. The old indicator was a 1.5pt line that read as empty on a slow response.
- Universal binary — Intel and Apple silicon in one 1.8 MB download.
- App icon rebuilt full-bleed so macOS 26 stops wrapping it in a white tile.
- Disk image is laid out: background, icon placement, branded volume, and the first-launch step written on it.
- Build now refuses to package if the binary contains a path from the machine that built it.
- Menu bar animation went from 5.2% CPU to 0.2%. The view was allocating a fresh drawing context on every repaint to paint nothing.
- Rounded corners are baked into the bitmap instead of masked by the layer, cutting the offscreen compositing pass.
- Stopped rebuilding bitmaps on every layout pass and on every wallpaper-driven appearance callback.
- Panel tears down its view tree when closed, so a window nobody is looking at costs nothing.
- Menu bar is a colour-coded plate that turns one full signal at a time, instead of a marquee you had to wait out. Eight signals cycle in 24 seconds, and a new one can jump the queue.
- Colour is the stream: lime for WHALE, amber for SPIKE, emerald for STOCK.
- Big trades take over the bar — the plate inverts, dims what is behind it, and rolls the size up.
- Panel rebuilt around priority: the trades worth seeing sit up top with their evidence one click away, the rest of the tape runs underneath.
- Fixed the WebSocket being killed by its own timeout every 30 seconds. The request timeout on a socket means 'longest gap between frames', and this tape is quiet for minutes at a time — so it read normal silence as a dead connection and reconnected forever.
- Sockets and REST calls now use separate sessions with separate timeouts.
- Connection state is reported honestly: connecting, live, polling, offline.
- Win rate is hidden until a wallet has enough closed trades to make it mean something — a 0% from one closed loss is worse than showing nothing.
- Removed the wallet equity curve: the tape only reports open positions, so any curve drawn from it hides every trade that already closed.
- Menu bar width and settings alignment corrected.
- Rebuilt in Swift on AppKit and SwiftUI, replacing the Electron build.
- Memory at rest dropped from ~150 MB to ~45 MB.
- Menu bar motion is real compositor animation instead of Electron's title text, which could only jump one character at a time.
- Live tape over WebSocket, with a REST fallback for when the socket cannot connect.
- Filters that drop what is not a real purchase: airdrops, planted buys, drained pools and flagged tokens.
- One wallet buying one token in batches collapses to a single signal instead of five.
- SPIKE and STOCK require at least two separate wallets — one person filling a basket is not a crowd.
- WHALE, SPIKE and STOCK split into distinct streams with their own filters.
- Click a signal for the wallet's record and the token's depth.
- Minimum trade size, per-stream toggles, and pause.
- A menu bar ticker carrying tracked-wallet activity, and the panel it opens into.

Open the disk image and drop the app in. Nothing to configure, no account to make.

Allow it once
The build isn't notarised yet, so macOS blocks the first launch. Open System Settings › Privacy & Security and press Open Anyway.

It's in your menu bar, already filling. Click the plate for the panel, right-click for pause and quit.
